FIT2Lead
FIT2Lead is a supervised and safe alternative for youth ages 12-14 after school. From homework assistance help to critical enrichment sessions, the Fit2Lead program serves as one of the as one of the important ingredients in helping to create a positive foundation. The goal of the program is to provide opportunities for at-risk youth to gain life skills that promote mental, social and physical health that encourages positive behaviors.
The program is held during the school year Monday to Friday from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., and includes some Saturday family events.
Youth Enrichment and Sports (YES) Program (12 – 14 years)
YES provides academic tutoring, sports and enrichment sessions. Special workshops include music, dance, and photography classes. $15 Registration Fee(Non-Refundable).
Park Internship (P.I.P) Program (15 – 17 years)
Teens, ages 15-17, are invited to apply to become a Park Intern – an entry level part-time paid position that will get them started on the road to responsibility! Interns receive on-site practical work experience and enrichment classes that focus on topics such as budgeting, resume writing, communication, stress management, health, goal setting and making positive choices.
