Alert - Exemptions filing deadline approaching
Miami-Dade County Property Appraiser, Pedro J. Garcia, would like to remind property owners that Tuesday, March 1st is the deadline to apply for homestead, senior, veterans, and other exemptions.
“Whether it’s in person, by phone, or online my office is ready to help all property owners with their exemptions applications and questions,” said Mr. Garcia.
During the filing period, which runs from January through March, the Office of the Property Appraiser has been hosting multiple Outreach Events around the County. Mr. Garcia would like to invite property owners to one of our final outreach events.

As a reminder, you can apply for Homestead Exemption online at http://www.miamidade.gov/pa or visit us Monday through Friday, 8 A.M. to 5 P.M., at our Downtown Miami (111 NW 1st Street, 7th Floor) or South Dade Government Center (10710 SW 211th Street, 2nd Floor) offices.
