Zoo Miami awarded Tripadvisor's "Certificate of Excellence" five years in a row and the first "Hall Of Fame" Certificate

(MIAMI, June 4, 2015) – The Miami-Dade Parks, Recreation and Open Spaces Department is proud to announce that Zoo Miami has been honored with the TripAdvisor 2015 “Certificate of Excellence” award and a “Hall of Fame” certificate.

The “Certificate of Excellence” award is a result of consistently receiving excellent reviews from TripAdvisor travelers on TripAdvisor.com.  Zoo Miami received the “Certificate of Excellence” award in 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014, making 2015 the fifth consecutive year.  As a result of being awarded for excellence for five years, Zoo Miami is now also a first-time TripAdvisor “Hall of Fame” winner.  It also happens to be the first year this award has been distributed. 

“We are delighted to have won yet another Certificate of Excellence award for our sustained excellence.  The Hall of Fame award is an extra special distinction that we are extremely proud of and will celebrate,” said Zoo Miami Director Carol Kruse.

Other popular Miami-Dade destinations also operated by Miami-Dade Parks were also recently touted with a 2015 TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence award. They include: Deering Estate at Cutler, Amelia Earhart Park,  Haulover Beach Park,  Crandon Tennis Center, Fruit and Spice Park, and Crandon Golf Course.
