Commercial Robbery


(Miami-Dade County, FL) -- 

The Miami-Dade Police Department's Robbery Bureau is seeking the assistance of the community in identifying and/or locating a man who, Sunday, July 19, robbed the Walgreens at 14720 SW 88 Street.

Detectives say the subject, wearing a hooded sweat shirt and dark aviator-style sunglasses, entered the Walgreens and asked the clerk for cigarettes. The clerk asked him to remove his sunglasses and show identification. At that point the subject brandished a handgun and demanded cash from the register. The clerk, in fear for his safety, opened the register and gave the subject $300.00
