Armed Robbery

Considered Armed and Dangerous

(Miami-Dade County, FL) --

The Miami-Dade Police Department, Robbery Bureau is investigating an armed robbery in which the subjects shot at a witness thinking he was the police.  Investigators say that two subjects entered the store wearing hooded sweaters and armed with handguns, held an employee at gunpoint and demanded money from the register.  They then ripped two registers from the counter and attempted to run out the front doors.  As they fled, one of the subjects observed someone standing outside and yelled to the other subject, "It's the police, shoot him, shoot him." They fired several shots at the individual who returned fire with his own firearm.  The subjects then fled through the back doors of the business.  No one was injured.

Surveillance video captured the images of the subjects and investigators are seeking the assistance of the community in identifying and/or locating these individuals.  They are considered armed and dangerous.  Anyone that makes contact with these individuals is urged to immediately call 911.  Anyone having information regarding their whereabouts and/or identity, please contact Crimestoppers at (305) 471-TIPS (8477).

Video surveillance footage may be obtained from the FTP site.
