(Miami-Dade County, FL) -- 

The Miami-Dade police Department, Robbery Bureau is investigating an armed robbery that occured at the above listed location.  According to investigators, a 911 call was received in reference to a male shot in the area of N.W. 54 Street & N.W. 22 Avenue.  The subject fled eastbound on N.W. 54 Street toward N.W.21 Avenue.  The victim was able to follow the subject towards a convient market nearby. Responding officers were able to make contact with the victim and other customers that advised that a suspicious person was seen entering the refrigerator.  Officers immediately evacuated the business and summoned for the Special Response Team.  once the Special Response Team arrived on scene, they were able to convince the subject to surrender without incident.  The subject stole approximately $70.00.  The victim was transported to Ryder Trauma where his condition is unknown at this time.
