(Miami-Dade County, FL) -- 

The Miami-Dade Police Department, Northside District, is investigating a theft that occurred at the above listed location.  According to investigators, both subjects approached the victim’s jewelry counter and asked to see a gold necklace display. Once the display was on the counter, subject #1 began a conversation with the victim, distracting him from subject #2. While the victim was engaged in conversation, subject #2 took two of the gold chains and fled the mall. The two gold chains are valued at approximately $10,000.00. 

Surveillance video captured the image of the subject and investigators are seeking the assistance of the community in identifying and/or locating this individual.  Video surveillance footage may be obtained from the FTP site.
