(Miami-Dade County, FL) -- The Miami-Dade Police Department is investigating a shooting that occured in the area of N.W. 61st Street and N.W. 21st Avenue, shortly after 3:30 a.m.
According to investigators, Mr. Larry Jackson was walking northbound on N.W. 21st Avenue when two subjects exited a grey Chevrolet Impala and began shooting at the victim, striking him multiple times. Miami-Dade Fire Rescue responded and transported the victim to JMH Ryder Trauma where he is listed in stable condition.
The subjects fled the scene in an unknown direction. The firearm involved is described as a 9 mm handgun.
The investigation remains active and ongoing.
