The Miami-Dade Police Department, Homicide Bureau, is conducting an investigation into the death of a 91 year old woman. According to investigators, on Tuesday, September 22, 2015, at approximately 3:59 p.m., Miami-Dade Fire Rescue (MDFR) requested the assistance of the Miami-Dade Police Department (MDPD) after discovering the female unresponsive; possibly attacked by the family dog, in southwest Miami-Dade County. The female patient was transported by MDFR to Kendall Regional Hospital, where doctors pronounced her deceased. The investigation continues, further information will be released as it becomes available.
