The Miami-Dade Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred at 1295 N.W. 103 Street, injuring one male.
According to investigators, at approximately 11:24 a.m. 911 received a call from a male stating he had been shot. Responding officers discovered a male, Quasan Lamont Browne, shot in the leg.
While in the parking lot of the business, Mr. Brown began arguing with a person in a vehicle. The argument quickly escalated, when the driver of the vehicle produced a firearm and began shooting at the victim, striking him in the leg.
The subject then sped away from the business in a westbound direction.
Miami-Dade Fire Rescue responded and transported the victim to Jackson Memorial Hospital in stable condition.
The investigation continues.
