Two Teens Shot

(Miami-Dade County, FL) --

The Miami-Dade Police Department, Homicide Bureau is investigating a shooting that resulted in two teens shot and one of them was pronounced deceased at the hospital. Investigators say that at approximately 6:22 p.m. shots were fired in the area of S.W. 280 Street & S.W. 141 Avenue. Responding officers discovered two teen males suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Fire Rescue units transported the teens to Kendall Regional Trauma Center where one teen succumbed to his injuries while the other is listed in critical condition. A dark colored vehicle was seen leaving the area immediately after the incident and investigators are not able to confirm at this time if such vehicle is involved. The subjects fled in an unknown direction.

UPDATE #1: The victims have been identified and listed above.

Update #2: Through further investigation detectives have arrested the listed subject and charged him accordingly. The arrest affidavit is forthcoming.
