Traffic Fatality

(Miami-Dade County, FL) --

The Miami-Dade Police Department, Traffic Homicide Unit is investigating a fatal crash that resulted in one vehicle passenger ejected and four others transported to the hospital. Investigators say that a 1997 Chevy Camaro driven by Travis Taylor, was traveling northbound on N.W. 32 Avenue at a high rate of speed. Yolanda Sneed was driving a 2014 Dodge Charger traveling southbound on N.W. 32 Avenue. Travis Taylor lost control of his vehicle causing it to slide onto the southbound lanes. Yolanda Sneed's vehicle struck the Chevy Camaro causing the front passenger, Andrew Morgan to be ejected from the vehicle. Fire-Rescue units responded and pronounced him deceased on the scene. All of the remaining occupants of the Chevy Camaro were transported to JMH Ryder Trauma Center where they are listed in stable condition. Ms. Sneed was transported to a local hospital and is also listed in stable condition.

Investigators are not discarding the possibility of alcohol and/or drugs being involved.
