The Miami-Dade Police Department (MDPD), Homicide Bureau, is investigating a shooting that resulted in the death of two men just before four o’clock Monday morning. According to investigators, 911 calls were received regarding shots fired in the area of the southbound ramp of I-95. Officers from MDPD’s Northside District arrived on scene and discovered a male victim shot inside a vehicle. Witnesses advise officers of a second male victim injured on the eastside of I-95. MDFR responded and pronounced one male deceased on scene, the second male was transported to Jackson Ryder Trauma Center where he later succumbed to his injuries. At this time, a motive for the shooting is unknown. Witnesses on scene were transported to the Homicide Bureau for further questioning. The investigation is ongoing.
