The Miami-Dade Police Department, Traffic Homicide Unit, is investigating a Hit & Run crash that left a bicyclist dead in northwest Miami-Dade. Investigators say that just after 9 pm on December 19, officers responded to the 1900 block of NW 62 Street regarding a Hit & Run crash involving a bicyclist. Miami-Dade Fire Rescue responded and pronounced the victim deceased on the scene. The investigation revealed that a dark blue Toyota Corolla was traveling westbound on NW 62 Street when it struck the victim from behind. The driver did not stop to render aid.
