Investigators say that the victim and subject were involved in a verbal dispute that escalated into a physical confrontation. The subject, Lamount Tavius Lubin, then produced a firearm and shot the victim in the face. Lubin fled in a gray/silver 2005 Cadillac CTs and was last seen in the area of S.W. 268 Street & S. Dixie Highway. The victim drove herself to the hospital where she was subsequently airlifted to Kendall Regional Trauma Center and listed in stable condition. Lubin is considered armed and dangerous.
