Department of Transportation and Public Works will begin accepting Transportation Network Entities preliminary licenses applications
Beginning on Monday, May 16, 2016, the Department of Transportation and Public Works (DTPW) will begin accepting Transportation Network Entities (TNE) preliminary license applications.
On May 3, 2016, Ordinance 16-42 was adopted providing for the licensing and regulation of TNE, as well as TNE drivers and vehicles. The ordinance provides for the issuance of preliminary licenses after the effective date of this ordinance. These preliminary licenses will be valid for 30 days.
The application form can be obtained online, or at the TNE Licenses, Passenger Transportation Regulatory Division office located at 601 NW 1st Ct., 18th Floor, Miami, FL 33136.
Applications may be submitted by mail or delivered in person to the same address, or submitted by email to:firstname.lastname@example.org.
For any questions regarding the licensing process, the public should call 305-891-3131, Monday through Friday, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., and on Saturdays, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
