Miami-Dade County Department of Transportation and Public Works 2019 Thanksgiving holiday weekend schedule

The Department of Transportation and Public Works wants to thank its riders for choosing mass transit and wants to remind everyone that on Thursday, Nov. 28, 2019 – Thanksgiving Day – Metrobus, Metrorail and Metromover will operate on a Sunday schedule.

On Friday, Nov. 29, all modes will provide regular weekday service, except for service on bus Route 95 Express from Golden Glades, which will be as follows:

• It will run approximately every 10 to 15 minutes between Golden Glades and downtown Miami.
• The first and last trips in the morning and afternoon will leave as currently scheduled.
• All trips to and from the Civic Center/VA Hospital, Miami Gardens Dr./ Carol City, Aventura Mall and Earlington Heights/Doral will operate as scheduled, except for the 5:22 p.m. trip from downtown Miami to Miami Gardens Dr./ Carol City, which will leave 5 minutes later at 5:27 p.m.

Regular weekend service will be provided on Saturday, Nov. 30, and Sunday, Dec. 1.

ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICES: On Thursday and Friday, Nov. 28-29, all DTPW administrative offices, including those for Golden Passport and Special Transportation Service (STS), will be closed in observance of the Thanksgiving Day holiday. However, STS customers can still call the STS reservation number at 305-871-1111 to reserve or cancel an STS trip.
