Miami-Dade County Community Action and Human Services Department conducts needs assessment survey

MIAMI ( December 06, 2019 )

The Miami-Dade County Community Action and Human Services Department in collaboration with the Florida International University Jorge Perez Metropolitan Center is conducting a survey of Miami-Dade County residents for the purpose of identifying needed social services in our community.

Miami-Dade County residents, 18 years or older, are encouraged to provide feedback on issues affecting their local communities. The Community Action and Human Services Department is a nationally accredited agency that provides comprehensive social services to individuals and families at every stage of life, from birth to the elderly. Cognizant of the ever-evolving needs in a metropolitan community, input from constituents is vital in gaining a broader awareness of the underlying issues, barriers and challenges that are impacting individuals, families and communities. This feedback is an integral component of CAHSD service panning and service delivery strategy.

Now through January 13, 2020, Miami-Dade County residents can complete the community needs assessment survey. A hard copy of the survey can also be accessed and submitted at one of CAHSD 12 Community Resource Centers or at six selected Miami-Dade County Public Libraries. The survey is available in English, Spanish and Haitian Creole. Your contributions are invaluable to our efforts to better understand the needs of Miami-Dade County residents and best support them.
