Head Start Update

Following guidance from the Office of Head Start (OHS), the Miami-Dade Community Action and Human Services Department (CAHSD) will extend the closure of all Head Start/Early Head Start locations until April 15, 2020 due to COVID-19 (coronavirus).

Head Start/Early Head Start employees will continue to engage families, deliver services remotely, and provide grab-and-go meals for enrolled children during the closure.
