Head Start Update

Following guidance from the Office of Head Start (OHS) and the Florida Department of Education (DOE), the Miami-Dade Community Action and Human Services Department (CAHSD) will extend the closure of all Head Start/Early Head Start locations until May 1, 2020 due to COVID-19 (Coronavirus).

Head Start/Early Head Start employees will continue to provide high quality early childhood educational activities to children, engage families, deliver services remotely, and provide grab-and-go meals for enrolled children during the closure.
