Miami-Dade County Mayor Carlos A. Gimenez to seek community input during virtual town hall to reopen parks, waterways under certain conditions

Miami-Dade County Mayor Carlos A. Gimenez will hold a virtual town hall meeting Monday, April. 20, 2020, from 4 to 5:30 p.m. on Facebook and Twitter. The aim is to receive community input on the reopening plan, as the County continues its response to the COVID-19 crisis. The Mayor will be hosting a panel of experts from the medical field and various industries who will be available to comment on the different phases of planning.

Residents and media can begin posting their questions Sunday on the Mayor's Facebook post regarding the event or send them via Twitter. The Mayor's social media staff will also be monitoring the accounts for questions during the live meeting.
