Miami-Dade County Mayor Carlos A. Gimenez pushes back curfew time

Effective Wednesday, June 3, 2020, Miami-Dade County Mayor Carlos A. Gimenez has moved the curfew time to midnight. The countywide curfew will be in effect until 6 a.m. 

During the recent protests in Miami, Mayor Gimenez signed an Emergency Order for a curfew starting Saturday, May 30, 2020. There are exemptions for employees at essential businesses and media. 

All Miami-Dade County beaches will remain closed 24 hours a day for the duration of the Emergency Order. The Mayor may change the curfew time again, if conditions change on the streets.
