Small Claims Court process explained at free virtual presentation on December 3

The Miami-Dade County Department of Regulatory and Economic Resources (RER), Office of Consumer Protection, will host a free virtual Small Claims Court presentation at noon, on Thursday, December 3, 2020. Registration is available online.

The presentation will provide participants with comprehensive guidance on the procedures for filing a claim in the County’s Small Claims Court, including a Q&A session at the end. 

Small Claims Court is used by individuals who want to address disputes involving $8,000 or less without having to hire an attorney.
