Transit service during Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. holiday
During the upcoming Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. holiday on Monday, January 18, 2021, the Department of Transportation and Public Works (DTPW) will provide regular weekday service on Metrobus, Metrorail and Metromover.
As a reminder, Miami-Dade Transit fares and parking fees remain suspended at this time, and rear-door boarding is still in place for Metrobus riders. To further support social distancing, riders are encouraged to follow the directional signage on Metrorail and Metromover vehicles in order to create one-way circulation paths.
Face coverings are required for all transit passengers at all times, including while waiting at a bus stop or on the platform, and while inside the vehicle. Violators are subject to removal from the system.
Administrative offices:
All DTPW administrative offices will be closed on Monday, Jan. 18. However, STS customers can still call the STS reservation number at 305-871-1111 to reserve or cancel an STS trip.
Golden and Patriot Pass information and online applications are available at miamidade.gov/transit. Lost items on transit can be reported via phone 786-469-5564 or online.
Residents are asked to please follow the guidelines for Miami-Dade County’s New Normal plan.
