Miami-Dade County Vaccination Program Update

This week Miami-Dade County began scheduling second vaccine appointments for seniors 65+ who received their first COVID-19 vaccine at a County vaccination site. 

Everyone who received their first vaccine at a Miami-Dade site will receive an email or text to schedule the second appointment, during the week of the date on the CDC card received at the first appointment. We will reach out by phone to anyone who doesn't respond by email to schedule the second dose.  

"Everyone who received a vaccine from a Miami-Dade County site will be contacted to schedule their second dose directly by email or text," said Mayor Daniella Levine Cava. "We are working hard to get shots in arms as fast as possible, including reaching out directly to everyone who received their first vaccine from the county to get their second shot and complete the vaccination process."
