Miami-Dade Transit unveils EASY Card and Google Transit Trip Planner

 


(Miami-Dade County, FL) -- Miami-Dade Transit (MDT) will showcase two exciting new developments that will make transit easier on Wednesday, July 16, starting at 11:30 a.m., at the Government Center lobby.

First, get a sneak peek at MDT’s upcoming automated fare-collection system. The EASY Card will make riding transit easier than ever by automatically deducting fares at Metrorail fare gates and Metrobus fare boxes from a reloadable card.

Then try out MDT’s new Google Transit trip planner. MDT has partnered with Google this new system, which lets passengers plan their transit trip quickly and easily. Just go to Google.com/transit, input your trip information and get your transit travel plan.
