Metrorail Schedules

Metrorail operates 5 a.m. to midnight seven days a week. 
 
On weekdays (Monday - Friday): Green Line and Orange Line trains run every 10 minutes during peak hours for a combined frequency of every 5 minutes between Earlington Heights and Dadeland South Stations. During non-peak hours, Green and Orange Line trains run every 15 minutes, with a combined frequency of 7.5 minutes between Dadeland South and Earlington Heights Stations until 8 p.m., then every 30 minutes until closing.
 
On weekends (Saturday & Sunday): Green Line trains run every 30 minutes. Orange Line trains provide only Airport Shuttle train service between Earlington Heights and Miami International Airport Stations with a 15 minute frequency. All passengers heading to the airport, must transfer to the Airport Shuttle train at Earlington Heights.
 
To ride, you can pay directly at the fare gate with contactless payment or you can purchase an EASY Card or EASY Ticket, or a mobile pass on the GO Miami-Dade Transit app. Fare gates do not accept cash.


Metrorail Service Update:

  • new Single-Tracking Schedule: Friday, April 19, 2024:
    Track preventive maintenance and repair work is performed after 8:00 p.m. on weekdays and all day on weekends. In the areas where work is being done, northbound and southbound trains will alternate (single-track) service on the same track while maintenance is being performed on the opposite track.

    Friday, April 19: Single-tracking scheduled after 8 p.m.
    • Single-tracking from University to Dadeland North stations.
    • All Green and Orange Line trains will operate every 15 minutes during off peak hours until 8 p.m., and then every 30 minutes until closing.
    NOTE: To ensure you get to your destination on time during single-tracking, arrive at your train station a few minutes earlier, or track your train arrival with the GO Miami-Dade Transit App. You can also call Customer Services at 305-891-3131 to obtain more details on the single-tracking schedule.
  • Palmetto Metrorail Station :
    As part of the Florida Department of Transportation's (FDOT) Palmetto Expressway Capacity Improvement Project, workers will need to continue widening the southbound SR 826 bridge over SR 934/NW 74 Street. In order to safely complete this work, the Palmetto Metrorail station will close at 8 p.m. every night starting Monday, February 19, 2024, until the project is completed.

    Beginning Monday, February 19, 2024 until the project is completed
    • Palmetto Metrorail station will close nightly starting at 8 p.m.  
    • The last Green Line stop will be at the Okeechobee Metrorail station.
    • All passengers will need to exit the train at the Okeechobee Station
    • Free Bus Shuttle provided between Okeechobee and Palmetto Stations.

  • Coconut Grove Metrorail station temporary parking area closed:

    Effective Monday, August 30, 2021, duration unknown: 
    • The temporary parking area under the Metrorail guideway east of SW 27 Ave. will not be accessible for parking.
    • The Coconut Grove Metrorail Station will continue to be open and available for all rail and bus services and transfers.
