Miami-Dade Transit provides new bus stop for safer access to Miami International Mall

(Miami-Dade County, FL) --
A new bus stop at Miami International Mall, designed for passenger safety and convenience, will now allow Miami-Dade Transit (MDT) passengers to avoid crossing busy Northwest 107th Ave. to access the mall.  The new bus stop will replace the old stop on the west side of 107th Avenue, across the street from the mall, which had been used since December 2006.

Beginning on Monday, Feb. 18, all northbound and southbound trips of Routes 7, 71 and 137 will loop briefly through the mall in order to serve the new bus stop on the Mall side of Northwest 107th Ave. just north of 14th St.  The new stop is thanks to successful negotiations between MDT and the Mall's management.
