Back-to-School Backpack and Supplies Giveaway for Miami-Dade County District 5 Students
MIAMI-DADE – Miami-Dade County Commissioner Eileen Higgins, in partnership with School Board Chair Mari Tere Rojas, is hosting a Back-to-School Backpack and Supplies giveaway for District 5 students on Saturday, August 5, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Silver Bluff Elementary School.

The Back-to-School Backpack and Supplies giveaway provides
relief to lower-income families who may not be able to afford the costs
of school supplies needed for the upcoming school year. The event
is open to all District 5 students and their families. Backpacks and
school supplies will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.
