Miami-Dade County to hold town hall meetings on new competitive process for community-based organizations


(MIAMI, June 3, 2015) – Miami-Dade County will hold five publicly noticed town hall meetings throughout the community to obtain public comment and receive testimony from community-based organizations (CBOs) and other interested parties regarding the new competitive process for grants to CBOs. 

The town hall meetings, conducted by grants coordination staff from the Office of Management and Budget (OMB), will be held as follows:

In addition, CBOs and the public will also be able to submit comments via a dedicated webpage and email address [email protected]

As part of the formal process, OMB will also hold five pre-proposal conferences, at later dates throughout the county to further discuss the process and solicitation documents, answer questions, and provide technical assistance to CBOs interested in submitting an application.
