Miami-Dade County reminds residents to be safe on the waters this Memorial Day weekend

(MIAMI, May 22, 2015) -- Miami-Dade County Mayor Carlos A. Gimenez, along with the Miami-Dade Police Department, Miami-Dade Fire Rescue and the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission will hold a boating safety press conference today, May 22, at 10 a.m., at the Miami Outboard Club, 1099 MacArthur Causeway, Miami.

The press conference is geared towards reminding residents of the important of boating safety while on the water and the new rules and ordinances in place in Miami-Dade County.
