Job Fair to Provide Employment in the Community |

|
Employers will be on hand to offer low-income persons job opportunities in a variety of occupational areas, including construction and retail positions, specifically air conditioning technician, apprenticeship programs, bricklayers, cashiers, carpenters, clerks, concrete finishers, electricians, janitors, laborers, fainters, plumbers, security guard services and more. Representatives from various academic institutions will also be available to provide information on educational opportunities and employability skills. Section 3 is a U.S. Housing and Urban Development program that promotes job training and contracting opportunities to residents in the community. Attendees should come dressed for success and bring their resume, photo identification, driver’s license, Social Security card, as well as other acceptable documents as identified on form I-9 (Employment eligibility Verification).
