RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING IN-KIND SERVICES FROM THE PARKS, RECREATION AND OPEN SPACES DEPARTMENT FOR THE APRIL 10 THROUGH APRIL 12, 2026 �MIAMI SPRINGS RIVER CITIES REGATTA� SPONSORED BY THE MIAMI SPRINGS RIVER CITIES REGATTA, LLC IN THE AMOUNT OF $4,700.00 TO BE FUNDED FROM THE BALANCE OF THE DISTRICT 6 FY 2025-26 IN-KIND RESERVE

WHEREAS, the Miami Springs River Cities Regatta, LLC has requested in-kind services from the Parks, Recreation and Open Spaces Department for the April 10 through April 16, 2026 �Miami Springs River Cities Regatta� in the amount of $4,700.00 (see attached Fee Waiver/In-kind Service Application); and
WHEREAS, the Miami Springs River Cities Regatta, LLC is a not-for-profit organization; and
WHEREAS, the �Miami Springs River Cities Regatta� is a family-friendly event that promotes community growth and serves as a fundraiser for local organizations; and
WHEREAS, the �Miami Springs River Cities Regatta� is a special event, as that term is defined in the attached Fee Waiver/In-Kind Service Application, and $4,700.00 of the in-kind services shall be funded from the balance of the District 6 FY 2025-26 In-Kind Reserve,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, FLORIDA, that this Board authorizes in-kind services from the Parks, Recreation and Open Spaces Department for the April 10 through April 12, 2026 �Miami Springs River Cities Regatta� sponsored by the Miami Springs River Cities Regatta, LLC in the amount of $4,700.00 to be funded from the balance of the District 6 FY 2025-26 In-Kind Reserve.
