Miami-Dade County Mayor Carlos A. Gimenez extends Emergency Rental Assistance Program

Deadline now extended to Friday, July 24 for County program to help residents facing problems paying rent due to COVID-19

MIAMI ( July 17, 2020 ) —

On Friday, July 17, 2020, Miami-Dade County Mayor Carlos A. Gimenez announced that he will extend for another week the online applications for the Emergency Rental Assistance Program (ERAP), which was launched last week.

“This vital program will help residents throughout our County get through the unprecedented hardships resulting from the current health crisis,” Mayor Gimenez said.

Only the online application will be accepted. There will be no paper applications. Applications are available online here.

The new deadline for the ERAP applications is Friday, July 24th at 5 p.m.
