| REPORT: | Assistant County Attorney Benitez read the foregoing resolution into the record. It was moved by Commissioner Sorenson that this proposed resolution be forwarded to the County Commission with a favorable recommendation. This motion was seconded by Commissioner Gimenez. Commissioners Diaz and Chairman Martinez asked that they be listed as co-sponsors. Chairman Martinez distributed a resolution directing the County Manager to conduct a feasibility study to determine the use of Flex Fuel/“Gasohol”or other alternative fuel sources, which he noted he sponsored in August 2005. He also distributed an attachment reflecting the County Manager’s recommendation in opposition to his proposed ordinance. Chairman Martinez noted the County Manager vehemently opposed his proposed resolution in April 2005 and he was interested in knowing whether the Manager’s position had changed. Hearing no other questions or comments, the Committee proceeded to vote. | ||||||
