    Welcome to the Legislative Information Center

    Welcome to Miami-Dade County's Legislative Information Center.  This site provides a variety of information regarding the county's legislative process. If you need an agenda item in accessible format please contact the Miami-Dade Agenda Coordinator’s Office at 305-375-2035 or agendco@miamidade.gov.

    Legislation

    • Agendas are available from June 1996 to present.  Both Committee and Board meetings are available four business days prior to a meeting. The agendas are current and include any additions, updates or withdrawals as they are entered.
       
    • Minutes are also available from June 1996 to present.  Both Committee and Board meeting minutes are generally available in draft format 2-3 days following the meeting.
       
    • The Legislative Search Page and Keyword Search provides information on items appearing before the Board of County Commissioners from June 1996 forward.  The page(s) allows searches on various items and displays the complete history of the item including the full text if available.
       
    • Lobbyist Registration provides information about lobbying in Miami-Dade County.  Look here for information and listings of Lobbyists, Principals and Subject Matters for all Lobbyist registrations in Miami-Dade County since November 1999.
       
    • Legislative Reports are provided based on Legislative Items and actions taken on the items from June 18,1996 to present.  Meeting AttendanceMatter SponsoredVoting Record and Legislative Index reports are available.
       
    • A link to the Miami-Dade County Code of Ordinances maintained by the Municipal Code Corporation.
       
    • The Webcast link allows the public to watch past and live Committee and Board meetings over the Internet.
       
    • Receive agendas by e-mail. The Legislative Information Center Subscription Service is provided to allow users to receive commission and committee Agenda updates by e-mail.
       
    • Search Administrative/Implementing Orders. Administrative Orders establish operating methods, administrative prodecures and/or orgainzational responsibilities. Implementing Orders establish specific Board of County Commissioner legislation or policies that fall under their authority.
