TITLE
RESOLUTION RETROACTIVELY AUTHORIZING IN-KIND SERVICES FROM THE MIAMI-DADE PARK AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT FOR THE JUNE 12-15, 2009 �2ND ANNUAL SUNNY ISLES BEACH OFFSHORE CHALLENGE� SPONSORED BY THE CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $6,395.00 TO BE FUNDED FROM THE DISTRICT 4 IN-KIND RESERVE FUND

BODY
WHEREAS, City of Sunny Isles Beach has requested in-kind services from the Miami-Dade Park and Recreation Department for the June 12-15, 2009 �2nd Annual Sunny Isles Beach Offshore Challenge� in an amount not to exceed $6,395.00 (see attached Fee Waiver/In-kind Service Application); and
WHEREAS, the �2nd Annual Sunny Isles Beach Offshore Challenge� is a four-day boating event that brings significant exposure to the City of Sunny Isles Beach and Miami-Dade County; and
WHEREAS, the �2nd Annual Sunny Isles Beach Offshore Challenge� is a district event, as that term is defined on the attached Fee Waiver/In-kind Service Application, and $6,395.00 of the in-kind services shall be funded from the District 4 In-kind Reserve Fund,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, FLORIDA, that this Board retroactively authorizes in-kind services from the Miami-Dade Park and Recreation Department for the June 12-15, 2009 �2nd Annual Sunny Isles Beach Offshore Challenge� in an amount not to exceed $6,395.00 to be funded from the District 4 In-kind Reserve Fund.
