RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ALLOCATION OF FY 2008-2009 DISTRICT DISCRETIONARY RESERVE FUNDS OF DISTRICT 3 AND DISTRICT 3 OFFICE BUDGET FUNDS

New Journeys Transitional Home, Inc. for Annual Prevent Youth
Homelessness Gala $ 300.00

WHEREAS, this Board desires to make the following allocations of FY 2008-2009 District 3 Office Budget Funds:
Florida State Conference NAACP - Miami
Dade Branch for Freedom Fund Gala $1,500.00
Miami Metrozoo for Miami Edison Sr. High Field Trip $ 406.00
Black Affairs Advisory Board for Pillars Awards 2009 $ 200.00

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, FLORIDA, that this Board:
Section 1. Approves the allocation of FY 2008-2009 District Discretionary Reserve Funds of County Commission District 3 as follows:
People United to Lead the Struggle for Equality, Inc. for Awards Gala $ 500.00
