TITLE
RESOLUTION RETROACTIVELY AUTHORIZING IN-KIND SERVICES FROM THE PARKS, RECREATION, AND OPEN SPACES DEPARTMENT FOR THE OCTOBER 14, 2011 �ISLANDS BEACH BASH� EVENT SPONSORED BY BAL HARBOUR POLICE DEPARTMENT IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $673.00 TO BE FUNDED FROM THE DISTRICT 4 FY 2011-12 IN-KIND RESERVE FUND

BODY

WHEREAS, Bal Harbour Police Department has requested in-kind services from the Parks, Recreation, and Open Spaces Department for the October 14, 2011 �Islands Beach Bash� event in an amount not to exceed $673.00 (see attached Fee Waiver/In-kind Service Application); and
WHEREAS, the purpose of the �Islands Beach Bash� is to raise funds for the Police Athletic League and local schools; and
WHEREAS, Bal Harbour Police Department is a department of the City of Bal Harbour; and
WHEREAS, the �Islands Beach Bash� event is a special event, as that term is defined in the attached Fee Waiver/In-kind Service Application, and $673.00 of the in-kind services shall be funded from the District 4 FY 2011-12 In-Kind Reserve Fund,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, FLORIDA, that this Board retroactively authorizes in-kind services from the Parks, Recreation, and Open Spaces Department for the October 14, 2011 �Islands Beach Bash� event sponsored by Bal Harbour Police Department in
an amount not to exceed $673.00 to be funded from the District 4 FY 2011-12 In-Kind Reserve Fund.
