RESOLUTION RESCINDING PRIOR ALLOCATION FROM DISTRICT 2 OFFICE BUDGET FUNDS AND ALLOCATING FY 2011-12 DISTRICT 2 OFFICE BUDGET FUNDS

BODY
WHEREAS, this Board desires to rescind the allocation of $500.00 made to Girls Receiving Abundant Blessings, Inc. on November 3, 2011 from the District 2 Office Budget funds; and
WHEREAS, this Board desires to make the following allocations from the FY 2011-12 District 2 Office Budget funds as follows:
Fanm Ayisyen Nan Miyami, Inc. $1,200.00
(Human Rights/Justice Advocacy Program)

KINAD, Inc. $ 500.00
(Youth Educational Exhibit)

Youth Power Movement, Inc. $ 500.00
(�Pull Your Pants Up� Youth Leadership and Development)

World Literacy Crusade of Florida, Inc. $ 250.00
(8th Annual �It Takes a Village� Summit)

The Center for Positive Connections, Inc. $ 250.00
(Easter Egg Hunt at MLK Memorial Park)

The Portrait of Empowerment, Inc. $ 150.00,
(MLK Essay Competition � Student Scholarship)

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, FLORIDA, that this Board:
Section 1. Rescinds the allocation of $500.00 made to Girls Receiving Abundant Blessings, Inc. on November 3, 2011 from the District 2 Office Budget funds.
Section 2. Approves the following allocations from the FY 2011-12 District 2 Office Budget funds as follows:
