RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING IN-KIND SERVICES FROM THE CULTURAL AFFAIRS DEPARTMENT FOR THE NOVEMBER 10, 2012 �BLACK MEN�S ROUNDTABLE� SPONSORED BY OMEGA ACTIVITY CENTER FOUNDATION, INC., A NOT-FOR-PROFIT ORGANIZATION, IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $495 TO BE FUNDED FROM THE DISTRICT 3 FY 2012-13 IN-KIND RESERVE FUND

BODY
WHEREAS, Omega Activity Center Foundation, Inc. has requested in-kind services from the Cultural Affairs Department for the November 10, 2012 �Black Men�s Roundtable� event in an amount not to exceed $495 (see attached Fee Waiver/In-kind Service Application); and
WHEREAS, the purpose of the �Black Men�s Roundtable� is to discuss social and personal issues that impact African American males; and
WHEREAS, Omega Activity Center Foundation, Inc. is a not-for-profit organization; and
WHEREAS, the �Black Men�s Roundtable� is a special event, as that term is defined in the attached Fee Waiver/In-kind Service Application, and $495 of the in-kind services shall be funded from the District 3 FY 2012-13 In-Kind Reserve Fund,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, FLORIDA, that this Board authorizes in-kind services from the Cultural Affairs Department for the November 10, 2012 �Black Men�s Roundtable� sponsored by Omega Activity Center Foundation, Inc., in an amount not to exceed $495 to be funded from the District 3 FY 2012-13 In-Kind Reserve Fund.
