Outside Plant Infrastructure for MDPD Tropical Park Mounting Patrol

Scope of Work: (Contractor must obtain and submit all permits prior to performing any work). Project Overview: Provide network services for video surveillance and WIFI from the existing PROS Equestrian Center trailer (MDF) to the MDPD Patrol Unit, stable #1, new (IDF) I. Scope of services: Directional Boring, Trenching, HH installation work: Conduit- (2) 2” – one for FOC and one for spare 1. Directional Bore from existing handhole (HH1) to new handhole (HH2) 2. Install new handhole (HH2) 3. Directional Bore or trench from (HH2) to (HH3) 4. Install new handhole (HH3) 5. Directional Bore or trench from (HH3) to (HH4) 6. Install new handhole (HH4) 7. Trench from (HH4) to (J1) 8. Install new junction box (J1)- 12”x12”x6” NEMA 3R Stables work: 9. Install conduit from (J1) to IDF for FOC cable only 10. Install backboard with fire retardant paint at IDF (location to be determined at walkthrough) 11. Install BUS bar and #6 AWG insulated wire to building ground 12. Install vertical rack, properly ground 13. Install 24-port DITEK protector, properly ground 14. Install conduit (properly ground) and 2-gang box at each location identified at walkthrough a. Install (4) 2-gang box for (8) stables (1 box feeds 2 stables) b. (3) exterior camera location 15. Install cat6 cable to each location for cameras and/or WIFI a. (11) cables for cameras b. (1) cable to WIFI (12) = TOTAL cat6 runs cameras/WIFI 16. Install cat6 cables to (3) offices and terminate on wall jack and 6-port patch panel a. (2) cables b. (2) cables c. (2) cables (6) = Total cat6 runs for data/VoIP (18) = Grand Total cat6 runs Fiber optic cable work: Vendor to procure and install Fiber optic cable (FOC) as per instructions below under section 17. Miami-Dade County technicians will terminate FOC. 17. Install fiber optic cable from MDF to new IDF as identified on the drawing a. Leave 25’ cable coiled in MDF b. Leave 2 service loops in HH1 c. Leave 50’ coiled in HH2 d. Leave 50’ coiled in HH3 e. Leave 50’ coiled in HH4 f. Leave 25’ coiled in IDF MDF Work: 18. Install Backboard with fire retardant paint to fit area as identified during the site walk-through II. Requirements: Please refer to Table on the PDF document attached to this solicitation
