HARDWARE & CABLES REQUIREMENTS
NOTE: NOT SUSTITUTION ACCEPTED FOR BRAND/PARTS NUMBERS. (IF PROVIDED)
PARTS ORDER:
1. Qty. (3) DITEK, DTK-WM4NETS Network Surge Protector. ((2) for Fuel Pump and (1) for right side FOTC Cabinet).
2. Qty. (4) DITEK, DTK-NETMS Surge Replacement Modules for DTK-WM4NETS Surge Protectors.
3. Qty. (1) GUP Explosion Proof Junction Box ¾ KO’s Part# GUP215 (4”X4”X2-3/4D), ¾” holes threads for future Liquid-Tight Conduit Fitting CCTV installation.
4. Rigid Conduit and related coupling.
5. Fire-Stop putty and caulking as needed to seal end of conduit and/or structure openings.
6. EC compliant hardware for any additional miscellaneous materials; screws, clamps, etc. as job require to successfully complete the installation
COPPER CABLES:
1) Berk-Tek LANmark-6 Outside Plant (OSP) UTP, Copper Category-6 / Outdoor, “Gel Filled Underground Rated” cable. Provided by Contractor.
2) Leviton Part# 10163780: Berk-Tek LANmark-2000 Category 6 Provided by MDC ITD. Length to be determined on the walk-through with the Contractors.
EQUIPTMENTS RENTAL / OTHERS:
1. None. Lift provided and operated by Transit, Facility Maintenance.
SCOPE OF WORK REQUEST
Properly wire as discussed on the Walk-through with the Contractor and as specified on this SOW.
Coordinate with ITD Project Manager for the exact locations of pull boxes, conduits, etc.
(4) Data Copper Wiring Cable Installation as follows:
Conduit related work:
• From the Fuel Pump bottom part, remove/pull-out only the following cables:
(1) Gray color cables going to the right side FOTC Cabinet.
(1) Red, and (1) Blue going up to the existing ceiling boxes.
• At the location as discussed on the walkthrough, cut the existing conduit (see picture below) and install/connect (1) Explosion Proof double gang box (same specs as the existing box).
Coordinate with the ITD Project Manager for the exact location.
• Using a Rigid conduit (same size as existing), connect the new installed box to the existing conduit coming from the Fuel Pump and continue with the same path to the other 2 boxes.
NOTE: ensure all fitting connectors are properly threaded and installed. The same specs as the existing hardware previously installed.
Cable Run/Drops: Leave a Pull-String behind when running new cables.
NOTE: LEAVE INSIDE THE BOTTON FUEL PUMP NO LESS THAN 5’ FEET OF CABLE SERVICE LOOP FOR ALL
CABLES RUN.
• Run (3) new cables as follows (see diagram below for reference):
? Run/Install (1) cables from the right side FOTC Cabinet going to the Fuel Pump bottom. Terminate this cable using an RJ-45 connector to plug it in to the Surge Protector (both
sides).
? Run (3) cables (provided by ITD) from the Fuel Pump bottom up to the ceiling explosion proof boxes. One cable to each ceiling box. Terminate cables using an RJ-45 connector
to plug it in to the Surge Protector
?Install (2) 4 ports Surge protector inside the bottom part of the Fuel Pump. Install in the upper (top) area (Ask ITD Project Manager for exact location).
• Install (1) 4 ports Surge Protector in the right side FOTC cabinet (Ask ITD project Manager for exact location). (Ask ITD Project Manager for exact location).
NOTE: for all cables inside the Fuel Pump, leave NO less than 5’ feet of service loop. Also leave as much as possible cable inside the ceiling 4”X4” boxes for future camera installation.
• Terminate all installed cables on both ends using RJ-45. Test and provide test results.
Others:
• Seal ALL existing open conduits ends (Fuel Pump and the three FOTC Cabinets) on both ends with Fire-Stop Putty
CONTRACTOR REQUIREMENTS
All assumptions MUST be correct to validate this Scope of Work. If anything listed below is inaccurate contact the Project Manager as soon as possible to discuss.
? The Contractor will be responsible for all items requested in this Scope of Work (SOW) unless specified.
? The Contractor is required to provide all installation project management, hardware/miscellaneous materials, and all necessary equipment to successfully complete
the job as requested.
? All cabling work and service loops must be and look organized.
? The work shall comply with all State and local codes, and with all relevant ANSI/TIA/EIA Telecommunications Standards and must follow the State of Florida Building Code for
ground provisioning and installation.
? All work performed must comply with Miami Dade County Code compliance.
? Test all cables for proper mapping and connectivity. Label accordingly. Provide Fluke or Comparable equipment Cabling Test Certification Report.
? This scope of work assumes that work will be performed during normal business hours.
