LINESTOP AND TAPPING SERVICES ON A 20 INCH AND 30 INCH DI FORCE MAIN

The project consists of providing three (3) 20-inch linestops, one (1) 30-inch linestop and five (5) sewer taps to allow water and sewer forces to relocate an existing force main ahead of a scheduled FDOT bridge construction. The work of this project includes, but is not limited to, furnishing and installing linestop assemblies for two separate sewer force main relocations; furnishing and installing linestop saddle, completion plug and appurtenances; performing taps for the linestops; installation of five (5) Department furnished tapping sleeves and tapping valves; pressure testing; performing tap on existing sewer main; coordination with WASD forces; scheduling work; removal of linsestops upon completion of sewer relocation work; installation of completion plug; and all other appurtenant and miscellaneous items and work for a complete, fully functional and satisfactory project located in Miami-Dade County, Florida. Experience Requirement: The Line Stop Contractor shall have a minimum of five years’ experience in the installation of the line stop on ductile iron and concrete mains. The contractor shall have training and recent work on the line stops over 20-inches with the physical work being performed by the actual foreman and work crew with the relevant experience. The Contractor shall have the personnel and equipment available to perform continuous work on a major intersection with a high-water table. Contractor must refer to the Request for Price Quotation (RPQ) and associated project documents and specifications for the detail Scope of Work.
