Pump Station 0142 Upgrade

Scope of Work: (Contractor must obtain and submit all permits prior to performing any work). 1.04 DESCRIPTION OF WORK A. The project consists of furnishing all materials, labor and equipment necessary to demolish existing Sewage Pump Station and construct proposed Sewage Pumping Station No. 0142 at same location, the work includes but it is not limited to, excavation, demolition and modification work; removal of existing pumps, motors, valves, piping and fittings; partially removal of existing dry well structure; removal of wet well top slab and access hatch; removal of existing power/control panel and concrete slab; removal of existing telemetry antenna and remote terminal unit equipment; removal of existing electric service, meter and main disconnect; removal of various existing concrete slabs; removal, transport, salvage and legal disposal of demolition material and equipment; transportation and handling costs, including removal of salvaged equipment to a location designated by the Engineer; furnish, install, operate, and remove temporary sewage effluent bypass pumps, equipment and accessories; furnish and install valve vault structure, top slab and access hatch; furnish and place suitable backfill material; furnish and install two 34 HP submersible pumps and related equipment; furnish and install leveler control system and related equipment; furnish and install valve vault sump pump and related equipment; furnish and install new water service piping, enclosure and accessories; furnish and install backflow prevention device; coordinate with FPL for installation of electrical service; furnish and install new electric service, meter and main disconnect; furnish and install the proposed power/control system inclusive of the necessary electrical panel, enclosure, telemetry system and related equipment; install RTU panel and SCADA equipment furnished by the Department; furnish and install RTU and SCADA materials not specifically provided by the Department; electrical work; mechanical work; furnish all materials, equipment and supplies necessary for pump station startup and testing; furnish and install sewage force main pipe and fittings; connection to existing sewage force main; furnish and install new aluminum guardrail ; placing asphalt driveway; temporary and permanent replacement of any sod, sidewalk, pavement and/or driveway damaged by construction; site restoration; and other appurtenant and miscellaneous items and work for a complete, satisfactory and functional installation. Sewage Pump Station 142 located at 11345 SW 2nd Street, Sweetwater, Florida 33174, Section 6, Township 54 S., Range 40 E. MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: In the event a firm is established by executives, supervisors, and other senior field staff (key employees) that would have met these minimum experience requirements with a prior firm, OWNER reserves the right to qualify the firm based on OWNER's sole determination and evaluation of the knowledge and prior experience of these key employees employed by the new firm. The experience of key senior personnel with other firms may be counted towards the experience requirement, if acceptable to the ENGINEER. Should such evidence not be satisfactory to the ENGINEER, whose decision shall be final, the bid will be considered non-responsive, and the second lowest bidder will be considered for award. The qualifying proof shall be submitted in a separate sealed envelope with the bid.
