Miami-Dade Transit Customer Service Offices to reopen to public

MIAMI ( May 17, 2021 )

Miami-Dade County’s Department of Transportation and Public Works (DTPW) is reopening its Customer Service Offices for walk-in and appointment visits from Transit customers beginning Thursday, May 20, 2021.

DTPW closed its Customer Services Offices last March as a direct response to the COVID-19 pandemic, implementing the measure to minimize the amount of non-essential interactions between Transit riders and employees.

Starting May 20, the following offices will be reopened to the public:

  • Pass Sales Office
    • Overtown Transit Village (OTV), 701 NW 1st Court, Suite 121, Miami, FL 33136
    • Hours: Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. except County-observed holidays.
    • Only customer requesting service will permitted inside the office.
  • Golden Passport Office
    • Stephen P. Clark Center (First Floor), 111 NW 1st Street, Miami, FL 33128
    • Hours: Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. except County-observed holidays.
    • Golden Passport Hotline: 786-469-5028 or at [email protected].
    • Only customer requesting service will permitted inside the office.
  • Transit Service Center Downtown Sales Kiosk
    • Stephen P. Clark Center, 111 NW 1st Street, Miami, FL 33128
    • Hours: Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. except County-observed holidays.

As these offices reopen, employees and visitors will adhere to the County’s continued COVID-19 safety protocols. All customers entering these offices for business will be required to:

  • Wear a face mask (covering both the nose and mouth).
  • Practice social distancing of six feet per recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC).

Customers also have the option of contacting the EASY Card Financial Contact Center for questions related to Miami-Dade Transit passes at 786-469-5151 or at [email protected]. The EASY Card Financial Contact Center is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. except County-observed holidays.

Further, both City of Miami and City of Miami Beach offer in-person Golden Passport services at their own customer service locations:

  • City of Miami (walk-in, open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. excluding holidays)
    • Little Haiti (6301 NE 2nd Avenue, Miami, FL 33138)
    • Overtown (1490 NW 3rd Avenue, Suite 112-B, Miami, FL 33136)
  • City of Miami Beach (by appointment only, open Monday thru Friday 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. excluding holidays)
    • Miami Beach Customer Service Center
      • 1755 Meridian Avenue, First Floor, Miami Beach, FL 33139

Transit riders who prefer to access pass services online can purchase or reload an EASY Card in the Transit Store or the Go-Miami Dade App and can submit a new application or a renewal application for a Golden Passport EASY Card on DTPW’s Golden Passport online page.

Since the start of the pandemic, DTPW has taken many steps to ensure the safety of Transit riders and employees. Per federal regulation, face masks remain a requirement for any transit rider, both inside of a Miami-Dade Transit vehicle and at a Transit facility.

DTPW will continue to follow the latest guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the Florida Department of Health (FDOH), and Miami-Dade County.
