TITLE
RESOLUTION RETROACTIVELY AUTHORIZING IN-KIND SERVICES FROM THE PARKS, RECREATION, AND OPEN SPACES DEPARTMENT FOR THE DECEMBER 20, 2011 �EL PORTAL LITTLE RIVER CELEBRATION DAY� EVENT SPONSORED BY THE VILLAGE OF EL PORTAL, A PUBLIC ENTITY, IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $1,400.00 TO BE FUNDED FROM THE DISTRICT 3 FY 2011-12 IN-KIND RESERVE FUND

BODY

WHEREAS, the Village of El Portal has requested in-kind services from the Parks, Recreation, and Open Spaces Department for the December 20, 2011 �El Portal Little River Celebration Day� event in an amount not to exceed $1,400.00 (see attached Fee Waiver/In-kind Service Application); and
WHEREAS, the �El Portal Little River Celebration Day� is a day of celebration to preserve, protect and promote the Little River and the Village of El Portal�s environmental beauty; and
WHEREAS, the Village of El Portal is a public entity; and
WHEREAS, the �El Portal Little River Celebration Day� is a special event, as that term is defined in the attached Fee Waiver/In-kind Service Application, and $1,400.00 of the in-kind services shall be funded from the District 3 FY 2011-12 In-Kind Reserve Fund,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, FLORIDA, that this Board retroactively authorizes in-kind services from the Parks, Recreation, and Open Spaces Department for the December 20, 2011 �El Portal Little River Celebration Day� event sponsored by the Village of El Portal in an amount not to exceed $1,400.00 to be funded from the District 3 FY 2011-12 In-Kind Reserve Fund.
