The scope of work shall include all materials, equipment, labor, tools and services necessary for the rehabilitation of the identified NSP (Neighborhood Stabilization Program) residence for buyer’s occupancy, according to ISD directives. The scope of work includes, but shall not be limited to, general conditions, building, electrical, mechanical, plumbing work, and any other ancillary trades and items required to deliver a habitable unit. This is an existing residence. Contractors must visit the site prior to bidding to become familiar with the total scope of work and existing field conditions at job site. Any illegal work or installation performed without a prior permit by the governing agencies must be legalized and brought up to all applicable codes or original condition. The Contractor is responsible for obtaining and paying for all required permits and calculations (electrical, HVAC, plumbing, hurricane shutters, etc.), insurances, utility connections verification, and hire licensed subcontractors to perform any applicable work, in order to deliver a sanitary, complete, sound unit for occupancy by the new owner. Painting contractor must be certified as a lead-base painter. All work shall be performed in the best standards of workmanship and shall comply with the latest edition of the Florida Building Code, National Electric Code, all national, state, county, and municipal codes, rules, guidelines, regulations, and any other agency having jurisdiction.
