Seaboard Cargo Yard Sewer Main Replacement

The Contractor shall furnish all materials, labor, services, supervision, tools, equipment, and all other items for the construction work at the Seaboard Marine Cargo Yard, located at Miami-Dade County Seaport Department. The work of this Contract consists of, but is not limited to, furnishing all materials, labor, services, supervision, tools, equipment, and supportive ancillary efforts necessary to replace approximately thirty-five (35) feet of an existing vitrified clay eight (8) inch sanitary sewer main located adjacent to Manhole (MH) #MH-55 (between MHs #MH-55 and #MH-56) and the installation of a drop manhole between MHs #MH-55 and #MH-56. All miscellaneous repairs and adjustments to the existing components of the sanitary sewer related to this work shall be performed in full accordance with the project specifications as well as in compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements and standards. The Contractor and/or Key Personnel must meet the below requirements, in accordance with Resolution R-1122-21: • Have a minimum of five (5) years of experience. • Have completed a minimum of five (5) projects (new or repair) installing a wastewater collection system including manholes and eight (8) inch gravity sewer mains to a depth greater than fifteen (15) feet within the past ten (10) years, where one (1) of these projects was completed within the past five (5) years. All work shall be performed in accordance with the Contract Documents. Document Pick-Up: Documents are available (on Compact Disk) starting on Thursday, May 4, 2023, at PortMiami, Contracts, Procurement and Materials Management Section, 1007 North America Way, Suite #311, Miami, Florida 33132. One copy of the bid documents will be required to prepare a bid. Bid documents (on Compact Disk) will also be available after the Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting and Site Visit. The non-refundable fee for each set of Bid Documents (available on one Compact Disk) is $15.00 and only checks or money orders are acceptable and shall be made payable to: Miami-Dade County Seaport Department. To purchase a set of bid documents, please bring photo ID and a business card, contractor's license, or company letterhead authorizing you to purchase the bid documents. Contractor must refer to the Request for Price Quotation (RPQ) and associated project specifications for the detail Scope of Work.
