One Year WASD Pavement Restoration Project A

The project consists of performing pavement restoration following repairs or improvements on behalf of the Water & Sewer Department by removing and replacing asphalt pavement at various locations countywide. The work of this project includes, but is not limited to, performing asphaltic patching repairs; performing asphaltic concrete repairs including milling and resurfacing; saw cutting; removal of existing asphalt; disposal of debris; reworking base; compaction; leveling to match existing pavement; applying prime and tack coats; application of all friction course types; marking restoration; restoration of permanent thermoplastic pavement striping; restoration of reflective pavement markers; maintenance of traffic; traffic control; adjusting manhole and valve boxes; obtaining all final permits to include MOT, lane closure and special events permits from the governing agencies; performing repairs at multiple locations with separate crews; nightwork as required; obtaining and closing permits; and all other appurtenant and miscellaneous items and work for a complete, fully functional and satisfactory project located in Miami-Dade County. Requirements: Project has requirements found on the associated project documents including: 1) The contractor will be required to actively perform with up to four (4) production crews working simultaneously in two different designated areas 2)The Contractor shall be able to provide a minimum of four (4) crews with the capacity for asphalt patching, milling, and resurfacing of small areas and full blocks restorations to be able to comply with city and county restoration requests. 3)The Contractor shall be a dedicated paving contractor that performs pavement restoration work as the focus of its daily operation. The Paving Contractor will need to document the requirement of having enough staff to perform multiple repairs at various locations. Contractor must refer to the Request for Price Quotation (RPQ) and associated project documents for the detail Scope of Work.
